See the beauty and diversion of Russia by train: endless landscapes russian cuisine, russian history, russian people, endless dimensions. The first part focuses on russian culture and landscapes. We pass all the cities by train and spend some time in the cities. Every city is totally different and has its own beauty and history. We will have time to explore the cities and connect to the russian culture. The second part is about to arrive at a beautiful lake Baikal and settle down for a few days, digest all impressions and grow. We will focus on yoga practice and meditation, or some simple pranayama practices in the morning and in the evening. The time in between is for us or ourself. You can choose to do something good for yourself. We will offer day trips to the lake or into nature. You can expect to learn some basics of the russian language. Banja (russian Sauna) will be offered as well and has its own charm. You will never see Sauna as same as before. Typical siberian cuisine is part of the trip. Please inform us if you are vegetarian or vegan.

Moscow never sleeps!
Yekaterinburg is situated on the border of Europe and Asia, it is the 4th largest city in Russia. Famous for the cultural scene and industrial centre of the region. Moreover, the first Russian president Boris Yeltsin was born there.
Krasnoyarsk is the best place to enjoy the Russian nature. There is the most popular National Park in Russia, called Stolby Nature Sanctuary. Hiking lovers will be fascinated by the beauty of Siberia.
This city is located right next to something that is on the bucket list of every Russian: next to the Baikal Lake. It is the deepest lake in the world, one of the clearest, and it contains more water than the North American Great Lakes combined.
Olkhon is the third-largest lake island in the world. For the indigenous Buryats it is a very spiritualplace. Next to Olkhon is Baikal's most famous landmark, the Shamanka, or Shaman's RockSee.

What else should I know?!
In most cases there is no shower on trains, but there are some exceptions and sometimes you can find a carriage with a shower. There are 2 restrooms in every car, and there are sinks, too. Bed linens and towels are provided on trains. Each carriage of a train has a carriage manager (provodnik - name in Russian), who checks the passport of each passenger on the train. Moreover, every train has a boiler, so you can make a hot cup of tea and have a nice talk with Russians.
You must book a flight to St. Petersburg or Moscow on your own as well as the flight back from Irkutsk. These flights as well as the (optional) nights before 14.08 and after 30.08 are NOT included in the trip. Please make sure to book there ahead.
Depends on your passport. We provide every passenger with the scan of the invitation letter for Russia needed for the visa application, we do not provide visa services.Check the information about the Russian visa at the Russian Embassy website of your country.
As far as possible we provide breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner on the train. If you're vegan, vegetarian, please indicate when applying.
Prices include train tickets, food on the train (group trip only) and accommodation incl. breakfast in the stopover cities. You need a budget for traveling to start and from final destination, food & drinks in stopover cities and getting the visa if you need one. We're also organizing optional trips during the stopovers you can book separately.
